ABOUT SCOTT COMPTON, THE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY ATTORNEY
Prior to law, Mr. Compton worked as a graduate assistant in the chemical division at Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio, Texas, where he assisted in research focused on conductive polymers, bioactive glasses, and coating technology for the Coating Technology Integration Office of the U.S. Air Force.
Mr. Compton played Professional Baseball as an outfielder in the L.A. Dodgers Organization and is the son of former major league catcher Mike Compton (Philadelphia Phillies). Mr. Compton is a life member of the Association of Professional Ball Players of America.
Scott Compton was raised in Odessa, Texas. Outside the practice of law Mr. Compton is an avid weightlifter, martial artist, and enjoys photography.
